If you knew for sure, that this was a space craft powering up weather it was terrestrial or extraterrestrial your security clearance would have been pulled last week for talking about it. I cannot say your wrong. My engineering back ground demands skepticism. If it cannot be weighed measured and analyzed you can't claim much!!

@Solidus43 A power up as you call it is possible while reflection from the sun off the surface of a satellite is also possible. I choose the latter but I will never know for sure.
