The Illinois budget leaves human services programs with only 50 percent of the funding requested for State Fiscal Year 2010. The budget cuts, which are set to take effect on July 1st, will seriously impact children and their caregivers, the elderly, the disabled, the homeless, victims of violence, the hungry, and many other people in need.

  • We need massive budget cuts across the board or we're not gonna have a country much longer.

  • illinois cut funding to services for handi cap and children programs but gave new grants to programs that assist illegals to get welfare benifits lasalle county illinois these same people have promised more funding for veterans home but nothing has ever happened

  • All persons with disabilities, flee Illinois as though fleeing a war zone, and like fleeing a sinking ship! Illinois is a dictatorship, Illinois is greedy, especially being the 10th richest state, there is no friendliness in Illinois, tax burdens are heavy, and Illinois is 51st place for services for disabled people and is sinking like the Titanic.
