Tumieli: I STRONGLY disagree with you. Crows under the care of humans shouldn't be released into the wild.
Wild crows are considered a pest and are actively hunted to protect other wildlife, farm animals, and crops. You could release a crow into the wild only for it to be shot and killed.
If a pet owner is patient and knowledgeable, crows can live long, happy lives with humans as their flock.
Related: Some people breed foreign crows for sale, like Corvid Ranch. You can't release those!

@nintendoLove777 The natural world does not respect a concept like freedom, and whether or not it would have more friends is debatable.
In fact, I think it can be downright cruel to release animals raised in captivity. Many animals who grow up with humans can't survive for long in the wild because they don't have the skills to survive.
What's "natural" is not always good or right.

@ThInTrM although they have more freedom and friends when they are released, and that is natural. this comment is really cool though, thank you =]

Adorable crow! They're such sweet birds <3 I miss mine so much..definately the neatest pet I've ever had.

@notanugget14 In my experience they just do.. Crows are very smart, and if there is a place that they know will provide food and other things they enjoy, they'll keep coming back. I was very sad and worried that my crow would never come back after we released him, but he came back to visit every day, several times a day. You could even go outside and call his name (Midnight) along with a crow call (caw caw!) and no matter where he was he'd hear it and come swooping in from the sky right to you!

@ThInTrM That's exactly what happened to my crow.. When I was young my dad found a baby crow that had fallen out of the nest, and he brought it home and we hand raised it until it was grown. We released him but he came back every day to visit - pecking at the door and bringing us gifts (shiny things and grubs mostly), he even met me off the school bus every day. He was such a sweetheart, very friendly. One day he went to see our neighbour and his teen's buddy threw a boot at him, killed him.. :(

@bubbleman2002 I never even asked if you had sexual intercourse with my mother, why would you even bring up such a subject? Also, based on your response and the many errors in your spelling and grammar, I can tell that you really are a ten year old who doesn't know shit and needs to gtfo.
Don't worry...Einstein the "pet" crow flew away to be free. He was a baby that my neighbor raised and he joined a flock of neighborhood crows. We miss him!!!
