Not sure if this kid's some kind of world champion, and not saying I'm especially good at table tennis or anything, but there are a number of ways to quickly win a rally when an opponent's doing that. The most reliable being to let the ball drop and instead of smashing just whip it very low with plenty of topspin. It'll drop to the ground before it gets to the other guy. Or just a nice dropshot would work.

yeah it can get intense, but come on, they do more moving while celebrating between rallies then in the rallies...

@gammaray4evrr Obviously you haven't played much table tennis. It can get pretty intense, especially when there's a long rally like this.

also he's so far back and because he's so far back that means he's closing down so much of the angle even if he hit it to the sides u wouldn't notice plus that would be stupid because it would be very likely that you'd miss so the best option there is to do what he did and and play it safe because its very likely he'll make a mistake as he did. Not forgetting he's playing michael maze the best left handed lobber in the world, so don't go around chatting shit when u don't even play table tennis.

how stupid are u do u know how hard the drop shot is and theres no such thing as soft shot also he's putting no spin on it he's quite clearly lobbing, not forgetting when you go for the drop shot you've got to move in to it and that gives a clear sign that ur going for a drop shot and ur opponent will usually run in and then he'll start attacking. I'd say a drop shot only works effectively 1in 8 attempts.
