@MegaShane6 yeah i had an ol timer tell me that his 460 would out pull a 6.0 powerstroke, ha his 460 end up halfing to go to the shop before it even got the chance to pull a trailer.

Actually The 7.3L IDI Diesel was made until 1993. The 7.3L DI was made from 1994(you got that part right)-2003. The 2003 had a split deal where the 6.0L pos was on the line in the second half of that year, but the 7.3 was still an option untill 2004. And whoever is crazy enough to think they can out tow the diesel with a 460 gas is crazy. The 7.3L can still out tow a 2011 duramax even when the engines are stock. But still a really nice truck.

Yes, but what I was trying to say was they did not have the IDI International diesels in 96

@Rabiesthecat, @33whitie The 6.9 idi(1983-87), 7.3 idi(1988-94), AND 7.3 di(1994-02) diesels are ALL made by Navistar( a.k.a. International), in fact Navistar makes all light duty diesels in Ford trucks, until Ford came out with the new 6.7L diesel for 2011.
