Wow, beautiful animal. Thank-you for posting. I am concerned re: allowed sports hunting of courgars, inhumane and is not effective control of populations, or deterent for public safety. Public education most effective and although debatable but much more humane sterilzation of some females, as done w/ Kangaroos and koalas as form of wildlife management in Aust, much more humane option to, killing anything.

Not entirely uncommon for cougars to swim between the islands along the coast of B.C. Pretty cool to see it and get film of it though!
