My HBP Story [Song Parody]

The story of how I went to see the 6th Harry Potter movie.

'Cept I didn't go to the midnight show. And I saw it a month after it came out. I...I don't even have a Slytherin tie. :(

That Draco is finally significant,

So I go out
Into the streets in my costume.
My cloak and my tie
...which I wanted in blue
For Ravenclaw.
But they only had Slytherin.

Cause—the movie just came out
And I was so excited,
And I hope they don't
Cut any of my favorite scenes.
Harry was runnin' through the past,
He was workin' for Dumbledore. And I said:

Harry, you idiot,
what's going on, you never know.
I saw it coming.
No one will believe me, though.
I love Snape!
Don't care about Edward.
Wanna see the movie,
Guess I'll take the bus there.

Someone please take me,
I think I lost my Metro Card.
It's an emergency
—I'll miss the previews!
Oh, I'll just walk.
I'm gonna see Harry!
It's the midnight showing,
Refills are free.
(Free, free refills)

I got tired of walking.
This wizard cloak keeps getting caught in open doors.
My excitement was waning.
When I saw you on a poster, I stopped.
And I said:

Harry, you idiot,
I gotta see your movie.
But I know what happens
—should I wait for the DVD?
Will it live up to my fanfiction?
—Dumbledore showed up!
And pulled out a wand and said:

"Harry's an idiot.
It's really all about me.
I am awesome—and that's all you have to know!
I'll take you to the show.
If you wish to go then simply hop
Onto my broomstick.
Would you like a lemon drop?"
