  • @maverickdaw Take the vet's advice at heart, your dog should not pull at such young age, not even for a test. If you keep doing this, your dog will be ruined at age 2. You said you read books about this breed, but i highly doubt it. Why let it pull, if you read so many books? I have a dog that is 13 years old and he's having artritis now and all sorts of problems, it's no joke. You don't wanna have you're kids crying over the fact that your dog might be 2 years old and in pain.

  • @AdelinaSaves I was doing this only 2-3 times, so my Dog pull maybe 15-20 minutes. And I never made this again. My dog is right now 22 month old and is runnig crazy. So fortunately everything is ok. I know it was my mistake. So I never made this again. I take your advice at heart so don't worry

  • I understand that you think he is strong enough to handle this. But you have no idea how much dogs I see coming by, with hip problems(vet). About 3 of the 5 dogs have hip problems, because of this sort of actions. The others are genetic.

  • @cvn16 I mean I know how strong my dog is right now, but I know too that earlier my dog shouldn't pulling sled when was young. I appreciate Your advice because I know how dangerous it is for our dogs. It was my little mistake but I'm hope so it wasn't hurt my dog because Gina looks very healthy :)

  • they could get much painfull hipproblems with this. And even if it was a test, before 1 year of age; no jumping, no walking stairs, and certainly no pulling sleds! Did you even read about this breed? If not, I highly suggest you do.

  • @cvn16 I read propably more than You think :) I know what's bad and what's good. And I know that wasn't necessary but it wasn't hurt my dog. My dog now is really strong and powerful, has no problems with anything so don't worry :)

  • u need a way better pulling harness that one is not built for pulling sleds maybe for walking but not for pulling

  • It is funny it(he) is all over the place :)

  • Too young to be pulling or any hard work. Your looking a serious problems with elbow and hip dysplasia. Even long walks for an Akita pup can be bad for them, and all other large breeds.

Wait until the dog is about 24 months first. Beautiful Akita by the way.
