Alexis and Dominique are the best. Sable had no REAL reason to be so hatefull to Alexis except perhaps a secret JEALOUSY? Alexis got more out of being married to a Colby than Sable did and Alexis is a man eater while Sable pined after the same man who kicked her to the curb.

I loved Alexis in the first few seasons, but by this time she was just a charicature. I find Sable much more interesting out of the three women...

Four of the 9 characters from the opening credits are from the Colbys. Can you imagine if the Colbys hadn't been axed, there would have been no story lines for Dynasty in season 9.

@parkguy505 well, duh, she's new and fresh. The reason they brought her in was to fill the void of Krystle having left, and Alexis being on only half the season. It's the way they always operated. Bringing in filler characters to fill some kind of void in the show. Characters that would appear and disappear for no reason. Joan carried this show to 9 seasons, and it shows. She's tired and exhausted. But she made this show.

You can tell Alexis really loved Dex cuz she is just depressed and sitting down. She never does that; she's always up and fighting. Dex loves her because he asks her 2 or 3 times to take him back but he really betrayed her. So saddd!!!

And, the Dynasty set decorators never miss a chance to have a lit fire in a fireplace. Zorelli even has a fireplace in his studio apt!!! I'd love to know the story behind all the fireplaces & fires in this show. If I were watching with friends, I'd make that part of the drinking game. Fire in any fireplace = take a drink!

My 2 cents:

Yes, the Carlton Hotel was a giant step down for Alexis from the penthouse she had before she tookover the mansion. My only guess is that The Carlton set was actually more economical, because they can house many characters there, just by changing up the set-decorations. Alexis' penthouse was much grander though.

The Jeff/Monica borderline romance is gross to watch.

Dex is a rugged handsome hotty. Anyone knocking his looks is blind.

@ReeseyLee That was the most absurd storyline in primetime TV history. They should have taken it further & had Fallon get knocked-up by an alien & then give birth to a monster on Alexis' coffee table. BTW, why did Alexis move into that hotel after Blake took his mansion back from her? What happened to that fab penthouse she before? That hotel was a huge step down for Alexis & wasn't even worthy of Trampy Jo or big-jugged fake Fallon.
