@lugojiano1 necessary is not the right term, speaking in tongues is the language that the angels and God himself speak, it's a holy language so therefore we must be able to speak it too to praise the Lord

I'm not religious, but I'll never forget my Catholic grandmother playing this on 8-hour long car rides. It's pretty nostalgic :)

@lugojiano1 Lols. a'course. But that isn't the point. What the tongues signify is the most blessed form of communication in existence, ever. It is GOD HIMSELF, visiting, and showering His' blessings on the faithful of a beautiful heart. But hearts can only be made beautiful by God, so the more submissive you are to His control/plan, the better. But seriously, tongues and accompanying gesticulations ROCK!!!!!!!! Just on pure symbolism alone, they rock.

God says we are to love all mankind . Not just chritstians but ALL of Mankind. BY acts of kindness,feeding the hungry Visiting the sick and those in prison, clothing the poor. It is in these acts of obedience to the Father that the world will know us. Words only cause disagreements, Acts of service bring the Peace of God. Love Everyone no matter creed or color, or any other reason we are called to Love the World !!!!!
