I had a problem doing the free download. When i clicked the download button and just saved the file it would just be a blank document. And I am not sure what to open the file with? I'm a Mac user so am i doing something wrong with the download?

You require something called a bittorrent client like u-torrent (u= greek small mu), bitspirit and the like. Otherwise you can't download it.
