Why would most people pay for Microsoft Office these days when basic editing features are available for free in a browser? Microsoft Business Division President Stephen Elop has been asked that question so many times over the past month that he could probably answer it in his sleep, but he gave a particularly well-reasoned version of the response when I raised the topic during a media briefing this week.
