As far as looks, I really like downtown Battle Creek, it is clean, there are some nice parks, and I love the old buildings and churches (and the bricked portion of Michigan Ave). As far as its entertainment value, it's still a work in progress, but I see a positive difference between when I moved here 10 years ago and now. I think that Battle Creek hit the nail with plans to create an International Food Protection Training Institute downtown and for Kellogg's to expand their downtown presence.
