This Halloween give children in Malawi and Rwanda an education.
The Schools for Africa programme is a joint initiative between UNICEF and the Nelson Mandela Foundation to increase access to education for children in six countries in Africa (Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa and Zimbabwe). The aim of the programme is to benefit 4 million children through child-friendly school interventions such as training teachers, building new schools and providing adequate sanitary facilities as well as books and other necessary school supplies.
Featuring Canadian Idol's Ben Mulroney and Farley Flex, UNICEF Child Ambassador Bilaal Rajan, and many local Canadian fundraisers.
