  • Likewise.

Really been down since I heard about Nick's sad demise.

Things like this remind me how good Earl Brutus were and what brilliant nights I enjoyed watching them. Their gigs were often the stuff of nightmares for some, but I've rarely had better times at gigs in my life.

Thank you, whoever posted these videos.

Thank you Gordon, Shin, Martin and Jamie.

    Thank you Nick.

  • The band and their tour manager made me line dance to this at a gig in about 1998, in return for an interview for my fanzine. They were dead nice about it though. They also told me that the dancers in this vid are dancing to Whigfield's Saturday Night, as they were totally WTF when they heard this song.

  • A lost classic

  • Yes this band were brilliant, the 90`s had the best music ever, the shite stuff in the charts now like Lady Ga ga, Rihanna etc needs blowing away by music such as this!!

  • God bless yer Cinders

    Nice Navy cameo from Sweeney

  • have a go hero

rip nick we miss you so much

  • what a great band they were. THREE CHEERS FOR THE ARMY LAD.

  • I'd love to go, if I can get there. Live in the midlands, pity they can't do a show at the Custard Factory in Birmingham. Says a lot when another superb band want to pay tribute to a true original.

  • Thanks Jason. BTW, do you know about the Nick Sanderson tribute gig being held at the Forum in Kentish Town on Monday 27th October? Tkts are about £22 and the Jesus & Mary Chain and others are going to play. I've got about 5 or 6 mates to come along (not that they needed much cajoling!) and, of course, the more that come the better. Hope you and many more can make it.

  • cupidzbullet - what a great comment, couldn't have put it better myself. Thanks onehalfof - never thought I'd see these videos again.

Finally, thank you Nick and the boys for some of the most hilarious, memorable and inspiring songs and lyrics - pop music IS wasted on the young, AND the mindless british public!
