David: You're serious about this, aren't you?

David: Wait a minute, ah-ha, now you're going to tell me you're kidding, right?
Darlene: Nope, now I'm going to tell you I'm pregnant!
Roseanne: Dan, they took Darlene to the hospital. Let's go!
Doctor: Your daughter went into labor.
Dan: She's only 7 months pregnant.
Roseanne: That's way too early to deliver.
Doctor: She is going to have to deliver the baby.
David: Wish I could go through this for you.
Doctor: Your daughter has just given birth to a baby girl. Being so premature, her lungs are not sufficiently developed for her to breath on her own. At this point, she can't even cry.
Darlene: Is there any point to this?
Doctor #2: Well, in some instances like these, parents decide to... unplug the machine...
Darlene: What's the answer David? I mean, we know the question. Why was my baby born prematurely? And... why is it probably going to die?
David: It took me a long time to even get used to the idea of being a father... and I want it more than anything in the world.
Roseanne: She comes from a long line of women who fight... and survive...
Beverly: Oh my, you've got quite a grip, I think you're stronger than you're letting on.
Dan: Our granddaughter will be coming home shortly. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce, Miss Harris Conner Healy...
