In recent weeks, I have read various material and seen videos relating to this mind-boggling incident.
It is sickening to see the followers applaud Leo Ryan knowing that they will be dead in twenty-four hours.
I find it amazing that only a small percentage of them saw Jim Jones for what he was - a mentally-disturbed charlatan.
On a happier note: Jackie Speier had an awesome ass. She is the woman in the blue summer dress. Check it out between 00:28 to 00:35.

It was U.S. congressman Leo J. Ryan. He went to Jonestown to investigate alleged abuse. He was addressing the assembly saying good things about Jonestown. He would be killed the following day.

It's interesting that with all those defectors there was only one of them killed. While of the five killed, four were reporters plus the congressman!

Hey Upinlights, that is Congressman Leo Ryan who was later killed. He said the place was a good place to be. But then after, he found out it was not such a good place to be since a few people wanted to get out. As the plane was about to leave the next morning, he got killed
