Big Love - Bill's Ending

Is it wrong I was crying with happiness that Barb got her priesthood rather than sadness that Bill died?

Note to self: never re-sod your neighbor's lawn.

PS: How the hell did hired hitmen not manage to kill Roman but the quiet accountant who lived across the street got Bill?

I am really sad that I saw this 'BILL'S DEATH' in the you tube big love search results. I am only on series 1 and was looking for a clip to email to a friend. I have ordered series 2 and 3 and 4 and pre-ordered series 5 (UK) as I was really enjoying series 1. Now I am gutted that I know Bill dies! I have not watched the video clip.... I didnt need to. My big love experience has been spoiled. I wish people wouldnt put ending spoilers on you tube :o(

@74nsm I'm sorry I ruined the ending for you but the show finished back in March. You can't expect people not to put up clips on the off chance someone somewhere else in the world hasn't seen it. In this case, season 5 ended in the US before season 2 began airing in the UK so chances are you're going to find videos on episodes you haven't seen.

Stupidest ending ever. It literally made no sense. I'm guessing Bill Paxton didn't want to do any follow movies.

@carnifex2005 Bill Paxton really didn't want Bill to die - watch the behind the scenes videos on the HBO website and the writers will explain why they killed him off. I thought the ending was pretty much perfect. It was the only way they could wrap up the story, give the wives wanted and not leave everyone feeling like Bill was the biggest douche in the world.

Some rude comments here, but I have to say: I really tried to watch the show because of the good cast and interesting story. But everytime I thought what they are doing is SO WRONG! It really made me angry...

@godonlyknowssarah Oh that sounds good, I have just watched the last episode of season 1 and cant wait for season 2 to arrive in the next few days. (we spent the last few months watching the whole of LOST. After BIG LOVE we will be looking for something else... any suggestions?) x

@KeithWasHere1 - What makes me laugh about this show is all the inaccuracies (especially when they showed the "Mormon past" of the Bill and Barbara). They aren't even close to accurate. When I saw the scene in the "temple", I couldn't help but to laugh at how inaccurate parts of that were.

@snagglescat yeah i know,bug it depicts a sect of the Mormon lifestyle,and anyone that believes in that magic underwear,well they are a few fries shy of a happy meal!!
