A wildfire burning in the hills above Santa Barbara, California Thursday has destroyed more than a dozen homes. The Jesusita Fire started Tuesday and has scorched 13,000 acres so far. (May 7)
Since when do they give fires names? That's pretty cool, I'm proud for them, they do tend to last awhile I'm glad they're finally getting some respect, now let's kill them.
Oh boo hoo. People with large bank accounts and homeowners insurance lost a house. I have two words for everybody. New Orleans. Most of New Orleans looks exactly the way it did the day after Katrina hit. Where's all the concern for them? It makes me sick how we sympathize for the rich and treat the poor and often black people like bottom feeders. This may sound cruel but I don't feel sorry for these people. I feel sorry for those in New Orleans that don't have accounts and insurance.
there ways to make areas safer from wild fire but it dose not look pretty enough for the people want those homes // i just do not get it why risk losing everything and paying so much insurance money for a few months of looking pretty ...
