Cancer (Version 2)

So, here is the second version of a Roslin/Adama video to My Chemical Romance's song "Cancer." I am leaving the old one up just in case. And chances are I'll make a third version once the series is finally over, but i needed one to tide me over. ;)

My mom was diagnosed with stage4 colon cancer. 4 years and 10 months ago it was removed and she had chemo. 2 months from now will be the 5 year mark, at that point its officially considered in remission. So I watch and relate to Roslin in a way most others can't. On behalf of those who have had cancer touch our lives, I can say McDonnell nails it; as does this vid!

Now about that hospital scene with Nana Visitor in ep 406. WOW! Bet u could really do something with that(hint hint)

Oh my gosh, looxVid! I am so sorry and I am SO happy for you, your family, and your mother! my grandmother has cancer, but she's...different, and so struggling through all that with her has been very different than the hell I'm sure you've all had to go through. So happy that the vid did it all justice! All the best to your mother! :)

About the scene with Emily- I actually debated over that for a while. I wanted more of it in there, but the vid was Laura/Bill based, so I wasn't sure. And I wasn't sure if I should save it for a different vid or not. Anyway, I will definitely see about incorporating it into my final version. :)

That was beatutiful to watch. They finally found their soulmate. Only to have each other for a short time was sad. Eddie and Mary are 2 of the finest actors we have today.

This has me tearing up a ltitle. Everything was so fitting, like JL stated. This song was made for the character Roslin and her struggle to overcome her cancer and still be president. The episode "Faith" still brings back that sense of well-being in the face of impending doom that Laura had to face even when I saw the clip of the boat. I can't wait for the third video, though it'll kill me to know the show will be over.
