  • How have I not heard this before Cracked featured it?

  • I don't know what the girl in gray in the back is playing but 2:48-2:52 is the best part of this video. I love her.

  • the whole population of portland is on that band.

  • @ModernTimepiece funniest comment here and you get spammed. blasphemy.

  • @falconclarinet It doesn't take much talent to vamp in unison. Only slightly more to write a figure that simple. I went back and watched it again and was even more unimpressed. The whole thing feels like a class project for a high school band. I can't vouch for the quality of the rest of the band's music, but to put this song on national TV feels like a cruel joke on all of the truly talented people who are never given a shot.

  • @VictorMWolf Sounds like your school got the short end of the stick. My HS was Catholic and had four years of religion class, so students had precious few elective slots; despite that, the VAST majority of members in band were enrolled all four years. Perhaps it helped that you had to have prior band experience (or the beginner band course) to be enrolled in the band. Regardless, I'd say that about 75% of the members of my HS band had at least the caliber of talent on display in this video.

  • @DukeofWulf High school bands might produce one or two kids per class who actually learn to play, while the rest get stuck in there because there's nowhere else to stick them. Our high school band was pretty much an overflow for shop kids when those classes were full. Hats off to the kids who actually do manage to learn how to play their instruments

  • @falconclarinet lol it's called high school band, look into it. Not exactly rare talent.

  • @DukeofWulf Ok bro, you go learn how to play a trumpet that beautifully, or a bass, or a violin, or how to sing perfectly in tune with a group that large, and then come back and tell us all how little talent that takes.

  • what?! when did they go on letterman?? congrats guys! (: I love these guys. they're seriously amazing live. saw them at a benefit show for a girl from my school about a year ago. I'm glad to see Oregon locals are getting recognized.

  • I find this inspiring. The idea that even if I have ZERO talent, I can perform before a national audience. Awesome.

  • Me he enganchado a esta cancion!!
