Second of a series. I was inspired by YouTube member vwestlife's stereo demo entry. I just remembered I had a few of my own.
I was a college student in 1987, and I had just worked on a Music Dept. Head's tape recorder. He gave me a couple of cassettes in return.
These are early stereo demonstration recordings--made when Stereo was a brand new thing. You'll hear some amazing separation. All of this is true Binaural stereo, not synthetic "stacked" sound like you hear in some modern recordings.
This is Sound in the Round, a demo tape with Tom Mercein. He was a DJ with WMAQ radio back in the mid-1950s.
His speaking reminds me of the president LOL
