In any accident they look at the policy limits of the person that caused the accident as well as yours. The policy limits are the maximum amount the insurance company will pay out. In Las Vegas each person is required to carry a minimum policy limit of 15,000 per person and 30,000 per accident. Conflicting claims arise if each had injuries exceeding the amount. In that case, they would look to your policy to see if you have uninsured motorist coverage.
