I think Ben Howlands coaching did wonders for Russel Westbrook. Howland accepted Westbrook's intensity by keeping him on the court even after a bad looking turnover. I feel this allowed Westbrook to become the honed offensive/defensive player he is today. I'm excited to see what happens when he learns the ropes in the NBA! His vision of the basket is something to behold.
