  • george bush should of never been presiden. how sad. flordias 5 electoral votes were more important than, what was it, hundreds of thousands of the popular vote? this is a clear example of how the system is flawwed.

  • I live in Canada, and wanted to know how the electoral college system in the US worked. Your presentation was very well done, you made it very understandable. Tks.

  • We have a similar situation here in Washington state as to the Farmers on one side and the Libs on the other outvoting the farmers and taxing them to death. Therefore the farmers have no tangible representaion even though they supply far more in trade value than the metrosexuals walking around Seattle. And so it gets harder each year for the Farmer..

  • Yes! we have to keep the Electoral College. imagine where we would be if our elections were decided by popular vote. The East and west coasts would determine the course of this country every election! SOCIALIST for sure.

  • And just like everything the Government gets it's hands on, it get's twisted and made to do what they want. Right now the cities carry the electorate college so that is where we are at. The heavily populated areas controlling the election outcomes.

  • Finally! Someone has explained what the electorial college is and WHY we need it. Thank You...

  • @mdKatsonmove its was actually written in the constitution at the "Constitutional Convention of 1787" its was a compromise states had come to regarding what kind of representation was fair for all states. there was much disagreements between southern states and northern states regarding their population and how that would affect the level of representation. For example they had "The Virginia Plan" and "The New Jersey Plan" both of which lead to further disagreement.

  • so when was the electoral college actually formed or founded? Like who came up with this idea?

  • this is full blown retarded, each person should get one vote, durrr how hard is that
