This is my all time favorite Dan Hicks tune! He grew up down the street from my first husband ... and Dan's still around ... unlike the husband, lol.

Dan just continues to tour his ass off,make great records,and put on one of the best live shows on earth. The spoken intro here is a variation of one he does a lot,the 'Special Guests' bit. This time it's Beyonce,Van Morrison,and Dylan. So the audience loves it when he does the Dylan voice during on of the stop-time breaks. He was intro-ing Honeysuckle Rose at The Iron Horse a few yrs back,and claimed it had been cut by Madonna and Fifty Cent,among others. Dan's The Man!
