A very popular Miracles b-side in A Fork In The Road, released as the b-side to "The Tracks Of My Tears" in 1965, it was covered by Rebbie Jackson in the 80's

Because your paths may never cross again.

Make sure you take the same bend

at the fork in the road

  • Beware. Beware. The danger's there. Beware.

Seems like love should be easier to bear.

But it's such a heavy load.

Worldwide travelers, you ain't been nowhere. Till you've traveled down love's road.

Although I may be just a stranger

Lovers let me warn you there's a danger

of a fork in love's road

  • Thanks for this great song. I had the cassette tape and someone swiped it!

  • Man, those were the days.........

  • Fantastic! Also watching the good ole 45 spinning is delicious, nostalgic and makes me sort of happy sad. What superb soulfulness in such an empty culture now. Trust God,folks, and have the joy of knowing that you love soulfulness. All the glittery STUFF can not do for you what the great Lord gives.

  • @Cch092775 Thanks for reminding me of Choosey Beggar. I had it on a 45. I believe it was one of the first I ever bought.

@ motownmaster......could you please post choosey beggar. Thanks.

  • "Going To A Go-Go" must be the Miracles all time best selling album. If it's not it should be. It had "Going To A Go-Go(#11), The Tracks Of My Tears(#16), Ooo Baby Baby(#16), My Girl Has Gone(#14) plus two very popular uncharted B sides: A Fork In The Road and Choosey Beggar.

  • > PRICELESS <

  • Are you at that fork in the road of your life in these trying, confusing contemporary times? Maybe it is time to reevaluate what is really important in your life. Have you ever thought what is your purpose in life? Is that relationship that you're in right now building you up or tearing you down? Could it be that person, despite them making you feel good sexually, or their money or material goods they give you still leave you void? The fork in the road you at now is time for reexamination?

  • thank you for the tune its great still sounds good today as it did then... thanks for the smile :)

  • DAMM BAD ASS JAM!!! I LOVE OLDIES I GREW UP LISTENING TO THEM CHOOOOW

  • this song has great personnal effect,as i'm sure it does on thousands of others who listen and go back to that time. Smokey is the poet who can find words pertaining to relationships that i could never express. The Miracles are my all time favorite since 1962, the year i first started buying records. thanks for sharing.
