  • Thank you for your review. I think it is the best review for this movie I saw in youtube. You were very prepared and informed me a lot even after i watched the movie. This is a very powerful movie ,and made me feel so uncomfortable...I couldn't say i enjoy it, but this is a excellent movie. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see your review.

  • @cccdouble Thanks for the kinds words. I had fun but difficult time with this review.

  • I have just ordered this film on DVD. Great review - really informative.

    Thanks for posting.

  • @hairylittlewombat Your very welcome! Thanks for watching.

  • ywood because that means that we'll be seeing more and more from this hugely talented individual...about the movie itself, well, yeah, it's really hard to watch - I didn't really remember how uncomfortable it made me until I got it for my roommate the other day, tried to watch it again and really couldn't. Very heavy stuff. Kinda like Irréversible in that sense, which is another INCREDIBLE movie, but one I don't really plan on watching again soon. Of course I own both DVDs,I'm weird like that :P

  • @JuPaschoal I own quite a few movies that aren't easy to rewatch.. Kids, Happiness, Elephant, etc... My justification is that they are important films that I may want to share with others at some point, and its just nice to have them cataloged.

  • I just watched this movie and...wow! I was uncomfortable and in love with the story. Very sad! But it'll be awhile before I war h this movie again. My brother recommend this movie and he didn't want to tell me anything about it do I could a an honest reaction to the movie. Great review.

  • Perhaps I’m desensitized but I never thought the subject matter was too overwhelming. I did like JGL’s character but I wanted the movie to explore the relationship with the disabled girl. I liked her most and was sad at how brief that storyline was.

  • @videoclerks Oh, I totally agree, it's just that sometimes when I tell people I never really rewatch most of the movies I own on DVD (too little time! LOL) they all look at me weird haha

  • I saw that movie a few years ago in Rio's Intertational Film Festival after months and months of hearing nothing but praise for JGL's performance, and to be quite honest I don't think any of the reviews I've read since then make it justice. Definitely one of my favorite performances of the last few years...decades...hell, ever, really. The movie itself is also VERY very good, but everything to me pales in comparison to the guy. I'm very happy that he's finally being recognized by mainstream Holl
