Yes, that I figured it out. But how are the zoom in / zoom out effects done?
I believe the movie recorded with Camtasia is edited using some software.

You can just do that with the zoom/pan feature/tool in Camtasia.

Mwesch (The Machine is Us/ing Us) said he made it with CamStudio for the screen captures and Sony Vegas for the panning/cropping/zooming animations.
