Although ITV's coverage faltered quite badly towards the end, with the Hamilton bias and the general feeling they couldn't be arsed, you have to say that the early days, particularly this shows that actually, overall, they pushed the coverage for Formula One forwards a great deal.
The BBC have continued that progress and the BBC Coverage is the best ever in Britain and around the World and I hope that it stays

I kinda enjoy those early-ITV studios. Texaco & F1Racing schemes are annoying, but the rest - not bad, for the first season. They benefited a lot from BBC's experience.
