Silver non-flat objects such as jewels, bowls, telescope lenses and car
parts. This kit works perfectly for spray chrome applications.

  • The silver coating is very thin and it will tarnish easily. You must protect the silver with a top coating. You can use either black mirror paint or a clear lacquer or varnish.

Clear lacquer or varnish will make the silver look pale gold. To make the silver look like chrome you must tint the varnish or lacquer with a transparent violet dye before you use it to coat the silver. I hope this answers your question - Sarah King
