@mrpumpkinn it's all in good fun. Black Francis ran an ad citing Husker Du for an influence when forming the pixies, Bob went on tour with them after Husker Du broke up, really liked them and admitted he pinched the bass line from them because they plundered so much from him. Still the best of friends according to Bob's book.
