  • If you could show an a380 to the people in this video their heads would explode...then again, if you could show them the ipad I'm typing this on, their heads would probably explode too

  • Imagine that, a hot meal on a tiny plane like this one. Now you're lucky if the stewardess lobs an apple at you.

  • Three miles up? The DC-3 cabin was not pressurized!

  • When I was a kid my dad was trying to buy a DC-3 to fix up and take to fly-ins. He figured how the DC-3 would make a great camper. Pop got one but when we were working on it he realized how much it would take to get it airworthy.

  • @dadsoldtapes it must have been expensive with a ticket on these DC-3S.

  • 1940... the year radar was first invented. The DC-3 would take 18 hours to cross the country with three refuels... of course, at the time, it was by far faster than anything that had come before (a year for a stagecoach trip just a century before, anyone?)

  • "nighty night"....creepy!

  • Good Video

  • Strange how they point out the Will Rogers memorial, considering that he died in a plane crash several years before.
