I remember seeing this! It must have cost Cadbury a fortune to get this ad slot! As I type I am eating a Dairy Milk.

The new ad is pretty crap though :( Nothing will beat this!

I'm not sure how much it cost for this slot, but the version broadcast a week earlier for the semi-final kick off cost around £700,000. I agree that Chase doesn't quite live up to the Gorilla, neither does the new remixes. And coincidentally, I'm also eating Dairy Milk as I type this - the ad must have worked lol.

I know you were, which is why I mentioned the new remixes. No matter how hard they try, it just won't work as well as a Gorilla playing to Phil Collins.

The whole idea is that it has nothing to do with chocolate. I actually met one of the marketing guys at Cadbury and the idea is it's something strange and different that brings a smile to your face, in the same way the chocolate will. Also, despite the little connection to chocolate it was a huge success and sales shot right up.
