Turns out that the Baywatch theme "Im always here" was writen and performed by 80s rock legends Survivor. Who also happend to perform such memorable Rocky soundtrack hits as "Eye of the Tiger", and "Burning Heart"
In a tribute to Survivor, here is the Rocky 3 training montage where Rocky and Apollo Creed run on the beach, set to the Baywatch theme. Surprisingly appropriate I find.

Common misconception. But now its Survivor. The Hoff sang 2 different end theme songs for various seasons of the show but the opening credits of the syndicated version of the show is Survivor.
In particular the tune Ive used here is definately Survivor because I took it from the Survivor discology before putting it into the video.

An awesome band from the 80s
They also sang eye of the Tiger and other songs from the Rocky Movies.
