Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths in the US, but receives extremely little federal funding to support research efforts. Dr. Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon professor who has pancreatic cancer, has joined efforts with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to urge the federal government to provide critical funding to speed the cure for this horrible disease.

  • There was one teacher at my high school who had a few stomach pains in mid April... So he went to the doctor who referred him to the hospital where he was confined for three months then died in july. He was only 37 and will be missed forever :'(.

  • @jabella80 That is sometimes right. My mom knows this woman who fully self-cured her own cancer only by eating tons of berries! The tumour had progressed a fair bit too. Unfortunately, that is only a one in a million cases which will respond this well.

  • Agaricus Blazei mushroom has a 94% success rate for helping eliminate cancer cells. If I can help just one person then this comment is worth it.

  • My wife gave up one hour before the end of her fifteen month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

All that matters is how you live.

  • lets be aware...and share the info...

  • My Mom has pancreatic cancer. They found a small piece on the tail of her pancreas in January. She kept it from us until July when it was too late. It had already spread to the liver. She's in hospice now but doing remarkably well. She still has her choices, her family, and her dignity and my family and I have been responsible making arrangments and whatnot. But we aren't expecting her to leave us anytime soon. Just feel it in my heart, she has a little time left.

  • My grandmother passed away from pancreatic cancer after less than 2 months of being diagnosed =( If you guys know anyone with this type of cancer ..... just spend as much time as you can with them love them hug them kiss them and get prepared for the last weeks they r the most heartbreaking
