Looking For My Fight (Jonas Brothers) Chapter 5

Joe's POV

Me-"So how exactly are we suppose to find her? It's not like we're professional detectives."
Felicia-"You don't think I know that. There is one odvious person that would kidnap Rebecca."
Me-"Josh."

*One Hour Later*

Clerk-"Name?"
Me-"Joe Jonas."
Clerk-"Who are you here to visit?"
Me-"Josh Berg."
Clerk-"Follow me."

I walked behind the clerk as he led me through the jailhouse. He stopped in front of a chair in front of a window.

Clerk-"Sit here when Josh Berg sits on the other side you can talk to him through this phone."
Me-"Thanks."

After a few minutes Josh walked up to the other chair. He looked the same, brown hair and a mean glare.

Josh-"What do you want?"
Me-"Rebecca's missing."

Josh-"And how is that my problem. She's your girlfriend now."
Me-"We broke up."
Josh-"She broke up with you because your a fighter didn't she? Told you she would."
Me-"No, broke up with her to protect her from other low life abusive guys like you."
Josh-"So if Rebecca's missing why'd you come here?"
Me-"You can't blame me for thinking you might have kidnapped her."

Josh-"How could I have kidnapped her?! I'm locked in a cell!"

Me-"So? You think being locked in a cell makes me think you changed? You think that when you get out of here I'm going to think that you're done fighting, done hitting? If you do think that then your dumber than I thought."

Josh didn't answer for a while and when he did speak it almost sounded like he was.....sorry.

Josh-"Look, you can see I'm here. I didn't take her. What else do you want?"
Me-"Can you at least tell me if anyone else hates Rebecca?"

He looked down and didn't talk.

Me-"Man, I don't know what Rebecca saw in you. She told me once that you were nice. Somewhere in you have to still love Rebecca. She's not a girl you can just forget."

I slammed the phone down and started to walk off when I heard a small tap coming from behind me. I turned around to see Josh tapping on the glass of the window and pointing to the phone.

Me-"What?"
Josh-"Okay just to let you know I'm only telling you this for Rebecca I still do love her a little. The other night I saw her walk into her house, its right outside my winodw in my cell, and a little after she walked in a group of guys carried her out and drove off in some balck Mustang."

Me-"Do you remember what the liscinse plate was?"
Josh-"Just the first three letters. K. J. N."
Me-"Thanks."
Josh-"Don't tell Rebecca I helped."
Me-"Why?"
Josh-"Then she'll want to come here and say thanks and I don't deserve that from her."
Me-"Okay."
Josh-"Bye."
Me-"Bye."

I walked out of the jailhouse still not believeing Josh was a better guy. But I think I might trust him a little for a while. Just a little though.
