It was FCs fourth away game with the Tigers, but the first at their regained Sandy Lane ground. The reds made the better of the first half and Nicky Platt made sure those chances counted just before the half-hour mark, when pouncing on an opening, right on the goal line. Lee Neville made it two nil 10 minutes later from a corner and the match was looking easy for Margy's men. Worksop were much the better team in the second half and deserved their equaliser from Massiah Mcdonald after Mark Hudson had earlier got them back in the game. The red army got an immediate response from their players though with an Astley Mulholland cross being knocked in off the shin of Luke Shields to preserve FCs recent unbeaten run.
Great game to watch ( Thought a draw was a fair result )....
