Update: Since beta driver 175.16 the issue has been fixed for both Vista and XP! :)

This is a video of the 9800gx2 artifacting. Currently this is caused by any of the new drivers. Old drivers such as the 173.67 do not have this issue. Hopefully nvidia will fix this issue soon.

  • Id say its some shit with the drivers. try install drivers with and without the Control center.

  • Read the description. It has been fixed for about 4 months now ;).

  • UPDATE: This issue is currently fixed in vista only with the 175.12 drivers. However, the problem still remains in windows XP.

  • did you instal the new nvidia drivers?

  • Not yet, I just found out that the 175.12 drivers are suppose to fix the issue in vista, but in xp the issue still remains.

    I have the same problem except its worse O_O more black areas.

    I'm kinda new to PC gaming and messing around with drivers (or anything technical). Help would be greatly appreciated.

  • i remember when my card did that, i thought it was a card issue but i guess you prove that it's not the card that has the problem but it's the driver. thanks for the video 6 stars if i could give you that.
