My view is.....no matter what iphone buy its going to be old soon. Main point: the 3g and 3gs is better than the first gen iphone. look at all the people who rushed out and bought a new iphone 1st gen, crazy i think. I did by the iphone 3gs as my first iphone and sure, when there is a iphone 4g it may have a front camera but who uses video messaging..not me. Now is the time to buy a iphone 3gs...no need to wait another year for a 4g then after that a 5g lol.

Also if u look under the specs for the 3gs it has an oleophobic touch screen, meaning fingerprint resistant, im curious to see how well that works so if u could, can u compare the 3g to 3gs on fingerprints if yur sister lets u
