How to connect your xbox 360 to an Eircom broadband connection

With a standard Eircom connection the firewall is set to medium. This prevents xbox live getting through your router. This video simply shows you how to reduce it to "low". If its something else comment and i might be able to help. Cathal O Cumin provided some of the information to this video

@JosephSamuels Well I guess you shouldn't be playin xbox in college :P But sorry man, I'd say your college has a much more advanced system and most likely requires a lot of authorisation for any settings to be changed. Maybe if ya look around ya might find a way to hack it. Sorry can't be more of assistance.

Also the PPPoE settings in the xbox sometimes fix problems.

The settings for PPPoE are in network settings in xbox 360. The default details are:

Username: eircom

Password: broadband1
