I love this Tom Wait's song. It's like a consumate piece of sad poetry. A pity I can't really give it the sound it deserves. One of the best song against violence I know of...

  • I love how your performance is true to the soul of the original...spare and lonely, as it should be. Beautiful.

  • Thank you! I am not much of a singer, but this song is just extra nice to play...

  • OH i get it

  • @nlo13

ha ha... as if music that's in 3/4 or 5/4 or what ever timing, is difficult? Much of tom Waits stuff follows 3/4 timing scheme btw.

I didn't say they weren't talented (in comparison to MR Waits though it's obvious they aren't), but that they have a talent on par with most pop sensations.

they may play their instruments well, but their song writing is poor. I've listened to Fall of troy, and listen to metal occasionally, try listening to some Tom Waits, you might like it.

  • @Romeowasbleeding1

I bet you've never listened to a song that wasn't in 4/4. Not that technicality makes music "good", but to say it requires no talent is just incorrect. I get it, you don't like the manic nature of their music and the screaming, but personal bias should never get in the way of objectivity; The Fall of Troy are talented.

  • @nlo13

Talentless in comparison to Tom Waits of course.

Talented in comparison to a pop sensation? I would say about the same.

  • @Romeowasbleeding1

Talentless? Your opinion immediately became invalid once you brought that up.

By the way, nice cover, UkeNewb!

  • @STEAMBOLT

I had my mind open when I listened to them, sadly my eyes and especially my ears were left wanting!

  • @Romeowasbleeding1 "idiotic fans" "talentless noisy band" and then "minds open." nice open mind, chief!

  • Christ... just shows how low humanity can get. You have this guy covering a master musician (tom Waits). While you have these idiotic fans baaawing about how this isn't the talentless noisy band that they were looking for.

Children, rather keep your eyes, ears and minds open. You may learn something.

  • what the fuck, this isn't "Tom Waits" by Fall of Troy... next time cover F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. ... best song ever dude

  • I was also waiting for the song Tom Waits haha, anyway nice cover, i like it :D
