The maiden voyage of a giant scale WWII warbird is a time of great excitement and anticipation for both the builder and the test pilot. It can also be a time of great frustration.
During the test flight of this Giant Scale Corsair, ailerons control was lost. For safety reasons, the test pilot elected to set the Corsair down in the field away from the spectators using the remaining rudder and elevator controls.
And for all you teenagers out there, if the music seems dated, the video was made in 1990.
