August 2005 saw the release of what is now widely regarded as one of the benchmarks for Flight Simulator Aerobatic aircraft in the form of the Long Island Classics Christen Eagle for FS2004.
Now, four years later, and with a gracious nod to both Kevin Lechmanski and Dan Hufford of Long Island Classics, the generous support of aircraft designer Frank Christensen, the Blue Eagles Virtual Aerobatic Team (fsxblueeagles.com) and the development team at IRIS, I have the greatest pleasure in launching the IRIS Pro Series Christen Eagle for FSX.

Features:

Custom soundpack including new supersonic prop tip effects.

All new 3D gauges designed from the Christen blueprints.

Two visual models contracted by Frank Christensen and polished by IRIS for full FSX functionality!

A superb flight model for the Eagle I and Eagle II aircraft, allowing users to try out both the kit sports biplane or the competition aerobatic aircraft.

A wide variety of paintschemes and two paintkits aimed at ease of repainting by users.

  • I was looking long time for this remix with no result. Only thing I know, that original song is Trifonic - Sooner or Later, is also very good but not as this remix. If someone finally find this remix, please send name to me.

  • @rolinspoland

I got this off of CCmixter. Try looking on there.

  • Yeah...seriously, give us the name of this song! Is it by Pretty Lights?

  • @JonisKanonis

I made this video a very long time ago. This song is a remix of "Sooner Or Later" by Trifonic and I got it off CCmixter. By the way, Pretty Lights is great :)

  • Tasty shots (as usual). Me likes a lot! It is funny... this past week I have also been kicking around a similar idea for a vid using a pitts aircraft. The greatest frustration I encounter is that FSX aircraft do not knife edge spin, execute true auto rotational snap rolls or tail-slides. I Just can't seem to get the aircraft to fall backwards, tail first, until the nose drops through the horizon to a vertical down position. How do you find this one behaves with these maneuvers?

    take care!

  • This aircraft is capable of doing these maneuvers with flying colors. The flight model is so realistic that the IRIS team got it to torque roll if the pilot executes it correctly. If you are looking for the best aerobatic add on for fsx, look no further

    :)

    Hope this helped!
