The real-life figure Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States (1861--1865), is fictionally portrayed in the novel and the film as having a secret identity as a vampire hunter. It is so cool how they just twist history to suit to continue the "historical" lies. NOT! Decent movie if you like to suspend belief... No redeeming qualities, but that should hardly be expected from such a movie with such a ridiculous premise. Vampires most likely exist, what powers they may or may not have is arguable. Could be worse...Captain America...PATRIOT HERO OF AMERICA!... Staring Obama!.-- Now that's a comedy I could take a bite out of.

I thought this movie was entertaining and good imagination of that writer. It's a dark parody & analogy of history. At the end when they said the remaining that exodus back to Europe , South America, and the Orient. I can think of Hitler, Castro & Drug lords, PoPot and Ho Chi Min for the Orient. The vampires in America were Southern slave owners.
