Kedco plc generates Electricity from Gasification

The process of Gasification can be broken into 4 primary steps:
1. Wood is preheated to reduce its mositure content.
2. The wood feedstock is fed into a chamber and gasified with oxygen at a high temperature.
3. This process creates syngas as well as a charcoal by-product.
4. The syngas is then pumped through a filtration system into an engine that produces electricity.
