Isn't it a bit ironic that our NEW president just signed into law a bill that costs us 1.3 Trillion that NO ONE had even read before passing it ?! (that's borrowed dollars...mind you)

Yeah... we get a law. We get a law? It was not that many in Congress did not like that the economy had reached this point... it was the fact that they were being coerced into voting to give trillions to the bankers.

The Republicans lost the House and Senate, after 12 long years, for some very good reasons, a doubling of the national debt being at the top of the list. You may recall that in 2000 the U.S. Treasury was operating at a surplus and actually retired some of the outstanding debt owed by our governemnt. All it took was George Bush and a Republican Congress to screw it up.
