It's July 2010 and Amtrak runs sold out on most long distance routes. These little private companys can not take recessions, even short ones. When they carryied the mail that was a income during lean times. But the truck builders and bus, air and highway lobby got that taken off the trains. Taxes were put on tickets years ago the money spent on highways and airports.

Is this still operating, or have operations ceased

I'm still mad that the train had to be moved and went out of buisness because of cost and low attendance with customers in Tacoma. I wanted to be a train engineer and operate those, now my dream has shattered away because of a man who wanted to put rails into trails.

:D I enjoyed your video. My dad is a big "train man" and what's so ironic is I'm listening to the song in the background and realize that's my aunt and uncle singing with the Oriskany Strings. Cool :D
