Bob Seger's song "Heavy Music" The song was a smash hit in Detroit in 1967 before he broke out nationally in 1968 with "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man". I put together a bunch of his pics through the years. Enjoy.

Detroit is only 3 hours away from me in Columbus and this got good airplay in Columbus. I loved it. The next one he got released as a single was the awesome anti Vietnam war song "2+2=" which also was big down here as the anti war movement at Ohio State was getting big.

Proud to say I saw Bob perform this song in 1967 in the basement of Our Lady Gate of Heaven Church in Detroit at a teen club dance. My first concert.
