  • The trick to making this happen is: Be lucky enough to find a female that will do it with you. By God's unmerciful design, for every adventurous spirit of the male version born, one female cohort makes it through.. That leaves 99 lonely, frustrated men wishing they could make this kind of move. All the same, I'm watching, and envious. Awesome.

  • @festyxfi haha Thanks... I guess. :) Ironically enough it was Van who wanted to do this before David and then he shortly got onboard with the idea! :)

  • Awesome! So where have you guys sailed to since the restoration?

  • @stonerace19 Mainly just around the area... getting practice and experience under our belt before any long trips. :)

  • smell-o-vision... haha... hope everything works out for you guys!

  • @evry1luvzjay Thanks man!!! :)

  • Learning the terminoligy is fun. Hatch, not a door. Hatchway, not a door opening. Deck, not a floor. Bilge is where you found the water. Rather than varnish, I'd sand woodwork and use Danish oil on it. Your poor dog (gets no respect), don't call him a Troll, call him Bos'n (the boss of the boat other than the Captain). I'd get a gimbled stove, your's, you can't use if sailing because of the list of the boat. Careful with your boat, it's really a coastal cruiser, may not handle storm sailing.

  • ... hummmm ... it takes a lot to get your own boat to where you want it but it's well worth it ...

i've done just that and the end result is awesome ... have fun ...

  • @Bergthesgarten haha.. well, We did a lot of sailing...

  • Amateur !! Yu´ll never sail !

  • Thanks for the tip on the composting toilet. I wasn't familiar with the brand that you mentioned but I found them and now I'm going to order several from my boat and my earthbag home that I'm building. :)

  • I am looking to become a liveaboard I am 5' 10" in other words short should be perfect LOL

  • Not a bad lookin fixer up, I"d be tickled pink with it. Now ya got my attention and I'll subscribe. Im lookin forward to the new adventure, Peace.

  • how many feet is it?

  • love the video, a couple of tips from a former and soon to be future liveaboard, all boats leak the area the water gathers is called the bilge, another reason there is water in the bilge is from condensation, another thing is the stairs where you enter thats called the companionway, and the kitchen is the galley, bathroom is the head, forward v-birth is in the forward cabin, anyways keep the videos coming

  • @festyxfi See, I gave up on trying to find a girl that would live on a boat with me, so I decided to go for the "girl in every port" approach. Out of the many ports and harbours I've visited, I've had success in just one, and that was my home port and it was a birthday present from a friend. I think I may convert to Christianity and turn my boat in to a floating monastery.
